Dear Friends,
I have found an interesting page on Sri Lanka folklore in this Lankalibrary.com. I am presently searching for background information on a Ceylonese myth or legend that is mentioned in the work of Colin Turnbull ("The people of the forest" who states that the legend of the chameleon guiding people to honeytrees is not only found in Africa, but also on Ceylon. Would you happen to know, who might be familiar with mythology of Sri Lanka (I guess ideally including the Weddha) and might be able to help me tracing back this myth? This would be of great help and I thank you very much in advance.
With my greetinsg and best wishes
