1. Screened sheen – "Always use a sunscreen with an SPF of 3 or more," suggests Dr. Rekha Seth, dermatologist. Sunscreen is vital for thwarting wrinkles, blotches and uneven colour in all tones.

2. Pore problem – Hormonal changes in the 20s and above expand the facial pores, leaving a coarse complexion. Use oil blotting papers and toners to swell the skin around the pores, and make them look less significant.

3. Pampered glow – Refines the skin with top to toe exfoliation and a custom-blended body mask. A 50 minute massage can restore energy flow. Follow this regime at least twice a week because skin thins with age, resulting in a drier, duller surface with rough flaky patches.

4. Shine ’n glow – Eat sea water fish. These are highest in omega-3 fatty acids and help police the skin’s natural sheen.

5. Dot busters – At 30, signs of past sun damage may begin to show up in the form of freckles and spots. Shoo away the dots by talking to your dermatologist about it.

14. Smoochy pout – After 25, your lips being to thin. So go in for a neutral pencil to line and to plump your lips. Fill them with a moisturising lipstick that contains an SPF.

15. Enticing smile – Say ‘boo’ to the food that cause your teeth to stain. Dark pigmented food items, such as tea, coffee or cola can wash away the whiteness and lustre of our pearlies! So, as an alternative, bite on apples, carrots and cucumbers. The cellulose in the peel and their mildly acidic composition can rinse the stain.

16. White bright – To prevent decay, go for whitening toothpastes with fluoride. You can also go for a sugarless whitening gum. Dr. Tarith Banerjee, dentist, recommends, "Clove oil is good for your teeth to keep it strong and protect it from tooth decay."
